		<description>Hi Andy,

I am currently in my third year studying Interior Architecture at Oxford Brookes University. My brief this term is to design an intervention within Borough Market in London.

I have also become really interested in the slow movement which is why I decided to design a 'slow zone' within the market in the form of a 'slow' cafe/tea house!

I've still got five weeks left to complete it so i'm still experimenting with ideas and the design but the general concept is that this space will, in some small way, give people in London a chance to retract from the hustle and bustle of London life.

It will be a 'slow' cafe, offering an alternative to the packed-out and noisy starbucks, prets, etc. It will sell only tea and will include a large bookshelf/small library.

I've been inspired by Japenese tea houses and the ritual involved in the making of the tea. The idea of a ritual is something that I would like to bring into the design also.

I'm not sure if any of this is helpful to you but I just noticed your blog and how similar it sounded to my design idea! I was wondering, do you actually have to create this event or are you designing it...??

One of my design precedents is the design company Droog who did a 'Go Slow' event...

If I come up with any ideas I'll post them and if you have any comments for me, I'd be really grateful!
