Your writing shows maturity, depth, humor and your outlook on living more slowly in this fast-paced world is commendable. Love your posts so far!

Dear Evan, Good luck with your busy school work. Perhaps much of the rushing in life starts with cramming in high school. I graduated from high school almost 50 years, ago, believe it or not! Time does fly and that is the problem.

I commuted to a special magnet school, 3 hours a day. I guess I spaced out in meditation while traveling to school and that may have helped me to slow down. Have you tried some form of meditation? I think it also helps to find ways to feel the passage of time, moment by moment. When you move your hands, feet, eyes across some space, you can try to sense the motion. You can, perhaps, image some BUMPS, or KINKS as you move across space. Then, you can try to STOP and PAUSE in your progress to think and feel where you are at and where you are going.

I can say more. Thanks for sharing about school. HarryPearle
